Sibongiseni Nxumalo

I am a workplace and commercial mediator with extensive experience in labour relations, employee relations and organisational conflict resolution. My background spans more than two decades in human resources and industrial relations, including senior advisory roles and HR management, where I facilitated complex workplace disputes, mediated conflict between management and trade unions and supported organisational stability through fair and constructive processes.

I am accredited through Conflict Dynamics and ADR South Africa and serve as an associate member of the KZN Association of Mediators. Over the years, I have also chaired grievance hearings, workplace forums and labour-related processes and provided conflict management training for both management teams and trade union representatives.

I have more than ten years of practical mediation exposure, including informal workplace mediation prior to formal accreditation. My mediation style is neutral, facilitative and interest-based with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, respectful dialogue and workable solutions.

I work across several sectors including energy, education, commercial environments and public sector institutions. I work comfortably in both English and isiZulu and also assist as a neutral interpreter to support procedural fairness and inclusive participation.
